Jelle | From gambling addict to expert by experience at Loket Kansspel

In this episode, listen to the personal story of Jelle, who managed to turn his gambling addiction into a positive force in his life and even made it his job! Jelle now works for Loket Kansspel as an expert by experience and as a counselor and he still goes to meetings of the AGOG. He also occasionally appears in the media and Jelle can also be seen in the BNN documentary series 'Addicted to Losing'.

Jelle was numb to his gambling addiction for 12 years and surviving to deal with the daily struggle of his thoughts and feelings. In this episode, Jelle talks about how treatment led to long-term recovery. And especially that talking, in openness and honesty, helped him get rid of his gambling addiction completely and stay away from it.

We are super proud of Jelle and he is an asset to Loket Kansspel. He now helps others move forward by sharing his own experiences and in doing so, he motivates and inspires others to overcome their struggles with gambling problems and gambling addiction, too!
